Owl Sculpture

Growing up in rural England, Alexander would sometimes hear the hoot of a barn owl when everything was dark and silent. The sound was exotic and melancholy. This small owl was carved in wood before being cast in a rich dark bronze. The rough facets created by the chisel and the exposed wood grain evoke the bird's feathers. This little fellow with his wise, cocked expression will bring a spirit of guardianship and wisdom to your home.
