Boshu Bowl - Slight Red Negoro, L

Inspired by the idea of an offering bowl, the Boshu Bowl is covered with layers of red and then black lacquer which is rubbed back in the "negoro" style. Through regular use the wearing and reduction of the outer coating gradually reveals the layers of lacquer beneath, creating an ever-changing beauty that seems to result from continual use and the passage of time.
